Thomas Nolf
Thomas Nolf (°1986) is a Belgian visual artist and documentary photographer. In his personal work he has a conceptual approach towards documentary photography, commenting on its rhetorical qualities and its—at times deceptive — relationship to representation and truth-telling.
His book ‘Peculiar Artifacts in Bosnia-and Herzegovina -an imaginary exhibition’ (2017, Art Paper Editions) received critical acclaim and nominations in his own country and abroad.
Besides working on personal projects he gets commissioned by organizations and newspapers to make visual stories abroad.
